RETREAT NIGHT #1

First of all,

I would like to thank all of you who came out to the retreat tonight. Minister Tanya blessed us with a "word" that I hope we never forget. Though some of you were unable to make it tonight, we prayed for you all and you are just as included in what the Lord did tonight as those who attended. Here are a couple of things that the Lord spoke to me through our time together tonight:

  • Because we are light, we are not to be hidden under a bush.... We are to be seen ... Praise dance is unique in that the congregation / audience must watch in order for it to minister to them. You can close your eyes when you are being ministered to by the words of a song, but when there are movements that express certain things, one must watch

  • Our praise before God in the presence of men should not be inhibited... UNINHIBITED PRAISE...

  • As ministers, we portray "messages" in action.... When we minister, we encourage people by speaking to their hearts through our movements

I also believe the Lord gave me words of encouragement for you all. There are some things that you will have to praise your way through. Whatever the situation may be... it may not call for fasting or 4 hour prayer services... you just have to praise God and let go... "LET GO AND LET GOD"

Please feel free to add to what I have written here... I am sure that everyone will be blessed and edified by how the Lord ministered to you tonight...

Blessings to All,
